Studio Report

Phillip and Brian, Temple Studios Malta, Oct. 2011

Recording Session
Temple Studios Malta, October 2011

Brian Viglione (musical half of The Dresden Dolls from USA and studio drummer a. e. for Nine Inch Nails): "Worked at a furious place and managed to complete 17 songs in 6 days with Phillip on the new album and was able to add loads of things from drums and guitars, to Moog synths and Baliphone. What a great collection of songs! Thanks to Phillip and engineer David Vella for a great time in Malta. Can't wait for the album."

Phillip Boa: "This 8 day session with Brian was wonderful. He had a great understanding of the Voodooclub's world and music. It turned out that he has almost the same musical taste than me. His drumming is extraordinary. But his natural ability to choose the exact right rhythm for the songs was as good. Brian also suggested a lot of little changes and ideas on a lot of songs and so he put his influence on our music. I will probably give him co-production credits. The only negative thing is that this new album will not be finished and out before next summer. Best regards from the old island of Malta to all my supporters and thanks to Brian."
